Real estate has been my career for more than 30 years, including 24 years with Ruhl & Ruhl REALTORS. As a lifetime Eastern Iowa resident, I have helped generations of buyers and sellers throughout Iowa City, Coralville, West Liberty, North Liberty, and the surrounding communities. With more than 700 completed buyer and seller transactions, my experience includes residential homes, commercial and investment properties, farms and acreages, and everything from first-time purchases to complex real estate transactions.
What I value most is earning the trust that comes with helping people make important decisions. I especially enjoy working with first-time home buyers because I can use decades of local knowledge to explain the process, answer questions, and make an unfamiliar experience feel more manageable. My role is to provide honest advice, solve problems, and guide the transaction while remembering that my clients are always the ones making the final decisions.
Over the years, I have also built strong relationships with local lenders, inspectors, contractors, attorneys, and other professionals who can help keep a transaction moving smoothly. Inspection issues and unexpected challenges are often where experience matters most, and I work hard to help clients stay informed, comfortable, and confident from start to finish.
My connection to Eastern Iowa goes far beyond real estate. My family has deep roots in the area, and I have spent years coaching youth, junior high, JV, and varsity sports through West Liberty schools and community programs. I enjoy being part of a smaller community where I know generations of families, neighbors, teachers, coaches, and business owners. Outside of real estate, I am a sports fan, golfer, and proud Hawkeye supporter.
I am grateful to have earned numerous Ruhl & Ruhl sales and service honors throughout my career, including multiple Double Diamond Club awards, repeated recognition as a Top Sales Agent and Top Lister in the Iowa City Office, and the Council of Residential Specialists designation. Most recently, I achieved Double Diamond Club status again in 2026, continuing a long history of sales recognition throughout my career.
I am also especially proud to have received the Gold Star Award from the Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS. This peer-voted honor recognizes the Realtor fellow members across the association most prefer to work with. To me, recognition from other real estate professionals reflects the same values I try to bring to every transaction: dependability, professionalism, cooperation, problem-solving, and serving people the right way.
